A bunch of things you can do, in no particular order:

1. Whitelist your own IPs in your mail client

2. Go to the LISTSERV Deliverability Assessment dashboard and follow
the suggestions there. See LISTSERV at Work Tech Tips:

   http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue4-2006-us.asp
"How can I assess my LISTSERV list deliverability infrastructure?"

   and http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue3-2006-us.asp
"How can I use SPF and DomainKeys to increase LISTSERV's
deliverability?" and (if using Maestro) "Can LISTSERV Maestro use
DomainKeys to authenticate outgoing email messages?"

3. Keep spam off your discussion lists (even if the large lists
are announcement lists, their deliverability may be affected
by spam to discussion lists). See L@W TT:

   http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue2-2006-us.asp
"How Can I Avoid Spam on My Discussion Lists?"

4. Make use of the LISTSERV SPAM_EXIT feature. See L@W TT:

   http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue2-2005-us.asp
"How can I get LISTSERV to check messages for spam?"

5. Use LISTSERV Maestro to send the emails to your large lists, and
use the "Check for spam" test feature. See L@W TT:

   http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue2-2005-us.asp
"How can I make sure my email messages get delivered?"

6. Use HDMail to deliver the list email. HDMail uses domain-specific
throttling and other techniques so as to deliver the mail in the
way that the recipient domains want to receive it. For mail to
your own domain, you can tell it exactly the parameters that your
other mail servers use to determine what counts as spam so that
the list mail never exceeds your own tolerance limits.

7. Add one-click unsubscribe link to the footer of all your postings
so that people who want to unsubscribe can do so easily, and not
end up flagging you as a spammer. See L@W TTs:

   http://www.lsoft.com/news/issue4-2005-us.asp
"How can I add a one-click unsubscribe link to the footer of my
LISTSERV list postings?" and (if using Maestro) "How can I put an
unsubscribe link into my LISTSERV Maestro mailings?"
