I run Listserv 1.8d under Solaris 8.  I compiled under Solaris 8 with GCC,
which is distributed as an option with Solaris 8.  I also use the Web
Archive feature.  Both Listserv and the Web archive work well under Solaris
8.

There was a irregularity when using the virtual user table with Sendmail
8.11.4, but that can be worked around.  I still need to troubleshoot that
problem.  I never did determine the source of the problem.

(Note that the Listserv subscription probe feature does not work under
standard Sendmail in any Unix platform, including Solaris 8.  There is a
Sendmail patch, but it is not supported by LSoft.)
