Anyone can send mail to HELP, INFO, or BITINFO@STANFORD and
it will get read by a real human being.  I have long advocated that
BITNET adopt a universal user id for human help.  EARN already has
such.  Unfortunately, when this was discussed on LIAISON some time
ago there was a very small but vociferous opposition so it
appears unlikely to ever be unanimous on BITNET.  There is nothing,
however, to stop any BITNET node from emulating EARN and documenting
it any way they see fit.
