GMail suppresses (discards?) duplicate messages, based on the internal
message-id. If a GMail user wants to receive copies of his/her own postings to a
LISTSERV list, he/she will have to subscribe to the list using a different address.

As for the original question ... the Default-Options= settings and the various
'quiet set listname ...' commands apply only to addresses which are actually
subscribed to the list; they have no effect on addresses that are retrieved
using a dynamic query.
