The upper limit may be limited by any one or any combination of the following:

 - LISTSERV License capacity
 - Operating system (e.g. on Windows the 2GB single file size limit limits you 
    to approx. 17,000,000 subscribers in a single list)
 - RAM
 - free disk space
 - available bandwidth
 - single destination domain

If your regular mailings (not necessarily list size, but total mailing size)
will be to 10,000 rcpts or more, talk to your L-Soft Sales Representative about
the HPO (High Performance Option) version of LISTSERV.  Also see
