If the mailing is sitting around on your server long enough for you to be
able to stop it in the middle, you obviously have a tuning problem ;)
Locally, our listserv runs anywhere from 250K to 1M pieces of mail a day,
and 90% or so of it is delivered in well under 30 seconds. If you hit
the 'Send' key, about all you can do is send an apology note....
