Our company is considering to use LISTSERV(r) in one of the project we are
implementing.

We are facing the following issues. I would be glad if you can throw some
light on the same:
1)       Is it possible to load an html to be sent in an email? Can we add
certain parameters to the uploaded html like language etc?
2)       Is it possible to LIST SERV to integrate with oracle 8i to retrieve
the list email id? Email id is stored in this database and has associated
list id, language and other parameters associated with each of them

What we want is:
1)       A user come in and adds an html to be send as a part of certain
list. He/She also specifies the language and brand while uploading the html.
2)       Now listserv queries the database to get a list of user email id
who have subscribed to that list and corresponds to that brand and language.
3)       Also, in case of subscription, LISTSERV(r) should send a
pre-confirmation mail and after user has responded to the pre-confirmation
updates the oracle database with the user email id, list chosen, language
and brand.
