When I click a link to approve a subscription request for a similarly-configured
list on which I am listed as a non-quiet owner, my browser displays a web page
that shows the results of the command execution. I do not receive - nor do I
expect to receive - the command results by email. Why should it be sent by
email, when the confirmation was submitted via https?
After I approve a subscription request, I subsequently receive a copy of the
"you have been added to the ... list" message that is sent to the new
subscriber. Do you receive a copy of that message for your list? If not,
perhaps the message template has been modified to suppress the copy to the list
owner.
