Although I did not enjoy Eric's method of dropping the three sites from
backbone status, I agree that the new releases of PEERS NAMES should be
placed online promptly after it is issued. In order to automatize this,
EARN sites can do:
  - include me in their 'authorized' list. the rest is automatic.
  - AFD to this file from a server. Either another EARN site, or a BITNET
    site. Before you AFD, make sure that that site keeps its tables
    up-to-date! (For example, the result of the RELEASE command should
    say that the PEERS file was updated either on 27th, or later, of
    this month)
 
Unless you do either of these things, you can't obtain a new copy of the
file reliably, as it changes. I shall be posting a separate listing of
the names of the sites who need to obtain this file more regularly.
