LISTSERV@SUVM has been running a database search job for the last
8 hours.  The job did a "SEARCH 'windows' in NOVELL" which completed
in 5 minutes elasped time.  A "SEARCH remote" was then started which
if I understand things should subset the results of the first
SEARCH.  Well it's been running for 8 hours.  Two questions:
 
1) Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
 
2) Is there some way I can interrupt LISTSERV without loosing
   any/all interactive commands it may have stacked up waiting
   for that "SEARCH remote" to complete?
