There's probably a lot of cases where pointing out the booboo but
also honouring the most probable intention could be a Good Thing
(TM?). Another nice touch would be to add "If you wanted something
else, then undo what I assumed with [blah blah]".

But it need not annoy people who could use an interface on their
machine which took care of those diffs if/when present.
