RENEWAL question

I wanted to set my list to set out renewal notices every six months,
so I put:
*  Renewal= SIXMONTHLY
 
However, it look like it's actually doing it *monthly*.  Can someone
help me figure out the right syntax?  (Gad I feel dumb)
