Hi all,
  Thanks loads for the help.  I got the list working correctly, but now
the problem appears to be that our Exchange server is stripping the
signature attachment when messages are distributed back to subscribers.
We're looking into resolving that situation.

Are you positive the attachment is being stripped *by listserv* and not
by somebody's anti-virus filter (MIMEDeFang or similar?)
