Have the newsgroup set as moderated with the address of the list as
the moderator. Then news readers will send messages to the "moderator"
i.e. the list. The people who want to read/respond with their news
reader will then have to subscribe to the list and set their subscription
to NOMAIL. This is the way SU runs the NOVELL list. Oh, the list is
Send= Private.

The only kink is that the gateway will still forward any posting to
the list that it gets IFF that posting contains an Approved: header.
We handle that by setting the gateway's list subscription to REVIEW.
I get one of these "approved" postings about once every two weeks
and so far they have all been from head hunters so I neglect to
approve them for distribution on the list.
