1) The file comes  in with a filetype of MAIL, not NOTE.  If a syntax error is
   detected in the  'From:' field of an  IBM NOTE, release 1.5j  will just set
   the  "name" to  '' and  the "fromid"  to  the RSCS  origin, so  this is  no
   problem.
 
2) What is RFC733 exactly? I don't have any documentation on it.
 
3) I don't like dirty tricks when they are not absolutely necessary. Using the
   RSCS origin as FROM for an IBM NOTE seems a good solution to me.
