It's a bug, caused by a new feature which, in the hope of saving network
bandwidth, made DISTRIBUTEd list put up to 5 recipients for the same node
per outbound file, in much the same way as non-DISTRIBUTEd lists do. It's
difficult to fix, and in addition it can be fixed only by applying an
update on both the source and sending node, because the source node (the
one with the list) is the only one to know about the concealment, and the
sending node (the one which actually generates the mail file) needs to be
told about it and act appropriately. This means I need to find a way to
pass this information in the DISTRIBUTE job while remaining upwards
compatible. That requires time. I have very little time to spend on
LISTSERV these days, because the LEP is going to start very soon and
people are getting frantic about all the things they realize are not
going to be ready in time. The best solution is probably to remove the
new feature altogether and revert to the previous behaviour.
