One thing I also faced before being helped by an upgrade (and the LSOFT
team) was that my proxy intervened with the process.  If I had a long
upload or something that involved large amounts of users my opensky (a
european satelite based service) proxy would at times decide that what
was done was done and terminated the connection.  If you are using a
proxy you might want to try a direct route at least to test if the
results change...
