Listserv Manager <[log in to unmask]>

When I migrated a list from our VM site (1.8b) to our Unix Listserv
(1.8c), I accidentally included the PUT statement at the top (as would
happen when mailing the list to the server). However, I instead ftp'd it
to listserv's home directory. This caused Listserv to try to make the
   PUT listname list Pw=password
a subscription, albeit an invalid one.

Since this is 1.8c, it reformatted it such that I can't just edit the
list by hand. I've tried every permutation of a
   DEL listname PUT....
I can think of (including quoting the address and parts of the address),
yet it's still there. To make matters worse, I can't GET the list either
as it gives me the error:
3 Apr 1997 11:14:49 From [log in to unmask]: get linguist (nolock
   >>> LSWLSTGN: Invalid entry in LISTNAME list, line 25
   >>> LSWLSTGN: data=PUT LISTNAME LIST

It doesn't send the list even though the logs say it did.

If the script which unformats the list were available, I could stop
listserv, unformat the list, fix the bad entry, and restart listserv
(which would then reformat the list). Is the script around seperately?
If not, does anyone have any other suggestions?
