     Thanks, the big problem isn't so much the individual messages with
     WINMAIL.DAT or other attachments. It's the mess the attachment create
     inside a digest that is annoying our clients.

Micheal,

    FYI the winmail.dat attachment is the RTF deffinitions.  It only contains
usefull info to clients that understand RTF (i.e. MS clients), the message
should be perfectly readable without it only no bold, itialics, color etc.
