You must be running LSMTP-Lite.

You need to add this to LISTSERV's site.cfg:

DIST_OWNER_MAIL_MERGE=0
USE_LSMTP_MAIL_MERGE=0

and stop/restart LISTSERV.

You will also need to delete a bunch of *.MAIL files from the ~\LISTSERV\SPOOL
directory that will just clog the works.
