Eric, I recently asked about the possibility of getting Listser
to process mail for lists at OHSTVMA prior to processing distribute
jobs.
 
Background:  At least 3 days last week, LISTSERV@OHSTVMA had a queue during
most of prime time.  This queue was in addition to mail waiting for lists
at OHSTVMA.   One piece of mail was for a private list at OHSTVMA, that
contained dated information.
 
How about considering an idea a long the lines of threshold counter,
in which LISTSERV processes say 10 distribute jobs, then check the rdr's
for each of the lists processing maybe 5 list mail, then going back to
distribute jobs?
