It's probably some artificial limitation on the software (either that you
are using, or one of the mailers between yourself and that listserv)..
Digests tend to be large, so, many programs are not used to handling
mail messages ranging in the thousands of lines.
 
My best guess would be to notify  [log in to unmask] and see if they are
the cause of this 'trimming'
