PROPOSAL FOR SPONSORED MAILING LIST

El Campo RUSE is a California non-profit organization dedicated to
providing a venue for San Diego's & Tijuana's least served musicians,
poets and other performers and artists as well as their "betters".

The greatest difficulty in preserving this artists' collective is
communication among the group. A dozen core members all have and
heavily use email. A growing number of the larger group also have email.
A mailing list as the primary means of communication among the group
would not only greatly increase the contributions of all members as a
result of the increased intra-communication, but would also solidify a
group identity, the reinforcement of which is a much needed step toward
this unique community organization's survival.

Where all members must contend with their day jobs, family commitments
and competing concerns in order to meet as a group to devise and achieve
common goals, a mailing list would permit virtual meetings. The benefits
of this are unlimited and doubtless plain to the mailing list host
provider considering sponsorship of this mailing list.

No large graphic or sound attachments are expected to accompany the
correspondence of this mailing list.
The current number of subscribers is expected to be between one and two
dozen.
Annual increases in subscribers are expected to number between four and
ten individuals.
No security provisions or restrictions are required.
Assistance for subscribers unversed in using mailing lists and the
Internet is readily provided by the group itself within or outside the
mailing list.
The proposed name would be RUSE@(sponsoring host).
