- If you  can make SMTPSERV not  to talk to  LISTSERV, do it and  it will
  solve the problem.
 
- If  you can't,  add SMTPSERV@nodeid  to  the IGNORE  variable in  LOCAL
  SYSVARS, and  LISTSERV will  auto-discard anything that  SMTPSERV might
  tell it.
 
I was afraid that  it was a 2-ways mailbox, which  you couldn't afford to
IGNORE.
