They're probably running an evaluation copy and they've changed
USERID.  Which is one reason for the jobs to fail, since these jobs are
expected to come from LISTSERV@, unless you've registered (not just
configured) the server under a different userid.

These (or at least all of them that I've seen) are SUPD jobs.  Site
manager's manual 10.3.10: "X-SUPD jobs update the file used  by 'LIST
SUMMARY'."  They're telling you something, not asking you something.
