If it's gotten past the list delivery stage, and the email software has now
picked up the process, there's really no way to stop the email from being
sent other than stopping sendmail or the email software you're using. If
you still have messages in the LISTSERV queue then just put a 'HOLD
listname' on the list and remove the messages.

Subject: stopping distribution

One of out list owners sent out a same email, 5 times accidentally to a
large mail list (the one we own). How can we stop distributing the email at
middle of the process. Can we delete the original email somehow?

thank you in advance.
