Mailing to *-request

I believe it is possible to mail to somehow mail to all the list
owners on my ListServ by mailing to "*-request". When I try to do
this, though, the mail bounces. Is there a secret to getting this
to work? I am at ListServ release 1.8a and LMail release 1.2a.
