At the moment, we have 4,888 lists on our Listserv.  The breakdown by
length of names is:

There's quite obvious user distaste for having to type over 20 chars for
the listname - you might want to think about that issue when worrying about
whether "over 32 chars" is legal.  Will anybody want to *USE* a list called
[log in to unmask]
