I'm enclosing a message from one of my lists. The list has
send=private and has for quite some time, so I know it's working.
Notify=yes. This address is not now subscribed to the list, was not
subscribed the last time I saved the list on my local machine, and I
have no record of any sub/unsub activity for this individual in the
meantime.

Questions: I know internet addresses can easily be forged, but can
you affect the address between LISTSERV's checking and the From:
field (by a clever combination of headers--I'm assuming this idiot
is not clever enough and has no access to the host machine's
LISTSERV DVM).

Can you do a QUIET SUB/UNSUB?

I've seen this on at least one other list, should we all serve the
address off?

Is something else happening with LISTSERV that I don't know about?
