Hi:

Section 17.3.2 of the Site Mgr's Manual (0005-MD-01) says about the
ALL-REQUEST alias:

"If you need to communicate with all of the list owners on your server,
simply write to the special ALL-REQUEST alias. ALL-REQUEST is expanded
by LISTSERV to include all list owners of all the lists on your server."

At first I understood this to mean ALL list owners, both active
and quiet.  But in practice I discovered that only active owners are
reached by this alias.  Perhaps I should have expected this, but I would
ask L-Soft to just add "non-quiet" in that paragraph to make it clear,
as elsewhere in the manual.

On that note, I would be interested in hearing other ways (databases,
scripts, etc.) that have helped people keep in touch with their list
owner "community."
