This morning LISTSERV@BNLVMXA distributed a  list-update job. It resulted in a
checksum error - no wonder, BNLVMXA is not even defined as node. The resulting
REFRESH request was rejected by RSCS so  it caused not much harm except for an
additional variable in LASTING GLOBALV.
I know that you can't perform all tests on a live system (or a live node). But
in that case care should be taken that it doesn't "leak out into the net".
