I have been thinking that since LISTSERV has the option of
prefixing the item it sends to the editor with some text that could
contain the token or some sort of validation information.  But the
order of items returned might change and the text might change so it
would have to be something other than a sequential token or checksum.
As an optional feature of the list though it might help prevent
"accidental" approval.
