Admittedly from a newbie ....
 
    I'm trying to turn on address verification for one list as a test
before turning it on for all large/active 'open' lists at this site.
 
     I do:  get listname list a
            receive the file
            edit subscription=  from open to open,confirm
            lsvput the file
 
when I issue 'sub' from another id, I'm added to list immediately.
when i do review, i see subscriptions= open,confirm
 
shutting down and autologing listserv has no effect
What obvious little detail(s) am I missing ??
