Ben, LISTSERV doesn't have a magic wand. Given that it has a 291 minidisk
on which there is DOMAIN NAMES et al, that it has no divinatory power and
that it does  manage to find the  file, the only possible  reason is that
something  is  accessing  that  disk.  Maybe  you  have  a  SYSPROF  that
automatically accesses  a 291,  I don't  know. Try  TELL LISTSERV  CMS LI
DOMAIN  NAMES *,  find out  the filemode  of the  disk, and  look up  the
PROFILE EXEC and SYSPROF EXEC for an access of that disk.
