I recently asked if anyone knew how to RECEIVE a mail file into a note-
book other than ALL NOTEBOOK. I tried the RECEIVE / (NOTEBOOK FN option
but according to the documentation (help receive) that only works if
the filetype is NOTE. So, I tried sending a NOTE to our sample listser
and the acknowledgement said it sent  'fn NOTE a' to samp-l at uvmvm.
But I have samp-l as an edited list, so it sent the NOTE to the editor.
But it appeared in the editors reader as a MAIL file so once again the
NOTEBOOK option failed. Any clues or is it hopeless???? thanks.
