I'll take  a guess at Robert's  first problem --  it looks to me  like someone
loosed a  piece of PROFS mail  out into the  net. I sometimes get  things like
that and things make complaining noises. The FROM: line business might also be
a problem -- RFC822 (I think -- no refs handy) expects headers in mixed case.
