I've found something in the LISTSERV logs that might shed some light on the
performance problem I mentioned in previous posts.
In the log files named SMTP#1-xxxxxxxx.log (where the Xs are defined by the
date, I see a large collection of lines like this:
----------------------
28 Feb 2000 13:05:09 -> XMRG FROM:<[log in to unmask]>
VERSION=1
28 Feb 2000 13:05:09 500 5.5.1 Unknown command specified.
28 Feb 2000 13:06:09 -> XMRG FROM:<[log in to unmask]>
VERSION=1
28 Feb 2000 13:06:09 500 5.5.1 Unknown command specified.
----------------------
These lines repeat at one-minute intervals, which is suspiciously close to
the length of the delays I have been experiencing.
I don't know the source of these messages. How can I stop these "XMRG"
commands from being generated every minute?
