Good question. The fact that LISTSERV normally does not send back
a copy of the message it is distributing to the original sender (no-repro),
is a blessing in this case. I believe that you CAN peer a list of your
own. Simply QUIET ADDH LIST1-L Peer Distribution
then, QUIET ADDH LIST2-L Peer Distribution
 
Yes, you can do away with the peers= statement, since there is no optimal
placement for two lists that are on the same server :)
BTW: Why on earth do you need to peer two lists of your own server???  -turgut
