I've uncovered a flaw in the code to let you delete a subscriber.
If you send a message to a listserv to delete a subscriber from a list,
LISTSERV does not check to see if the person is subscribed locally
*before* it checks to see the most likely location at which the user
is subscribed. Thus, for example, the people who were moved from the
EB0UB011 server a while back to DEARN cannot be deleted without moving
them back to EB0UB011 and *then* deleting them! I ran across this
recently when trying to delete a no-longer valid user at BARILVM from
the MAILBOOK list, who had been moved to DEARN in this way. It seems
to me that LISTSERV should check for local subscriptions before
deciding to pass the delete request off to the "best" remote node.
