I have a master list to which I control access. I also have sublists to
which only members of the master list can subscribe. I would like to
suppress notifications of subscriptions and signoffs to the sublists.

I thought that "Notify= No" would do the trick. But that only seems to work
if "Subscription= Closed".

Suppose my list name is XYZ. If I set "Notify= No" and restrict access to
XYZ subscribers by setting

     Subscription= (XYZ) or
     Subscription= Closed,(XYZ) or
     Subscription= (XYZ),Private

I (the owner) get a message notifying me of the attempt to subscribe,
which is what I am trying to avoid.

Does anyone out there know of a way to get "Notify= No" to work when
"Subscription= (XYZ)"?
