And using the original quote, "turnkey solution", I would also state
that the hoops being jumped through disqualify it as a turnkey solution.
There are too many special configurations made, and too many things
don't work as normally expected.  To be turnkey, the N of count of
special configurations and the N' of things that don't work as normal
must == 0.  Not approximate 0, or approach 0, but be 0.
