This is a preliminary request for an alternate sponsor for the Sinatra
discussion list.
 
The Sinatra discussion list has been in effect since 1994, through Temple
University.
As of this moment the list has been down, with no explanation from the list
administrators, for two days. Should it turn out that Temple can no longer
handle the list, another sponsor will be sought.
 
 
The List has received some media attention lately and has now grown to
approximately 340 subscribers, with 60 - 100 messages daily. The list
exists for the discussion and appreciation of the music of Frank Sinatra
and "The Great American Songbook."
Among the subscribers are authors, journalists, broadcasters, educators,
musicians, singers, as well as long-time fans and recognized experts in the
field of music.  More detailed information, including the FAQ, is available
