Are you sure your message in fact had a blank Subject: line?  I'm not sure if
a <space> char counts as 'empty' or not.  Try another filter more certain to
work, such as

From: [log in to unmask]
Action: REJECT Should reject msg from me

No.  The filter should be effective as soon as you click on the 'update'
