Yes.  But all the various mail servers in the path from message origin,
through LISTSERV, to the final recipient may not support it.  LISTSERV has no
control over these separate mail servers.

This addresses how to deal with certain Microsoft mailers known to exhibit
this problem, which may include your mailer.  Note this specific problem comes
from the EHLO dialog, before any message transfer begins, so it has nothing to
do with whether or not the message is in fact 8BITMIME.

This KB article addresses the problem for those mailers, but there may be
other mailers in the overall mail path that may still be problematic and
outside your ability to control.  Also, some mail system gateways (often on
unix systems) may auto-convert 8BITMIME to something else such as 7BITMIME,
Quoted Printable, or Base64 encoding.
