The right list is probably IBMTCP-L@CUNYVM, but as far as I know, there
  are no NFS implementations for VM.
 
In order to have NFS, you first need RPC/XDR.  In order to easily have
  RPC/XDR, you first need the BSD socket environment.  We're considering
  doing both of the latter projects here (but not the NFS).
