Listserv 1.8c for VM: XA mode, Error Logging the message

If I set LISTSERV to XA mode, whenever a posting for a local list arrives,
Listserv gives an "error logging your message" message to the user, to the
list owner, and holds the list.

If I set it to 370 mode, it works fine, but limited to 16 megs, so it croaks
eventually (matter of hours or days) when it runs out of memory.
