No, it isn't.  It's accepting the RCPT TO lines fast enough, but once you
send the DATA and the SMTP server has to actually queue the message,
there's a five-second delay:

12 Feb 2013 14:57:39 <354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>
12 Feb 2013 14:57:44 <250 2.6.0 <[log in to unmask]> [InternalId=6303986] Queued mail for delivery

Again, I would check for things like disk I/O wait and AV/spam scanning
delays.  It's probably either slow writing to disk or slow scanning
message content.  You can't push mail into the SMTP relay faster than it
will accept and queue it.
