Problems with :fclass.*

Some nodes  are having  a problem  with LISTSERV  because their  BITEARN NODES
entry says ":fclass.*". Is this a valid file class specification?? If so, what
does it  mean? In any case,  these nodes won't be  able to get files  from any
LISTSERV until I change the code,  unless they specify "CLASS=A" (for example)
on their command line.
