I would like to structure my archive lists through
several levels of subdirectories.

Lets say my main archive directory is:

        /home/listserv/archive

Lets say my main WWW Interface directory is:
        /home/httpd/htdocs/listserv

Now, lets say I want to create a list called
"eagle-l" and have it archived in:

        /home/listserv/archive/animal/bird/eagle-l

So, I set Notebook to:
        Notebook=Yes,/home/listserv/archive/animal/bird/eagle-l,monthly,public

That's no problem, I verified that the email messages get archived
there ok.

The WWW Interface is a problem. If I create directory:
        /home/httpd/htdocs/listserv/animal/bird/eagle-l

"lsv" does not create the eagle-l.html file and no searchable
web archives are created.

When I change the Notebook to:
        Notebook=Yes,/home/listserv/archive/eagle-l,monthly,public

and create web directory:
        /home/httpd/htdocs/listserv/eagle-l

then all is fine, the web archives get created and the file
eagle-l.html is created.

Does LISTSERV WWW Interface support archives in subdirectories?

Thanks in advance.
