Q: How do you change you name (such as to fix spelling) when you are on
just a list that is closed for subscription?
 
A: If there is ANY open list around, subscribe yourself to that and then
unsubscribe.
 
It would be convenient if a user who is already on a list and wants to
just change their name could do so themselves even though it is closed.
Would this be a security problem?
